Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc. takes a profound step forward in its ongoing mission of cultural, spiritual, and heritage revival. The Board of Trustees (Council of Elders / Lupon ng mga Tagapag-ingat) has formally passed Board Resolution No. 2026-09-05, declaring the Katalonan tradition as an essential component of Tagalog Ancestral Memory (Alaala) and formally incorporating it into the organization’s spiritual and educational ministry.

This resolution reinforces the core foundation laid out in the Preamble of the Spiritual Constitution and By-Laws of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc., which calls upon all practitioners, leaders, and seekers to “Reawaken the Ancestral Memory (Alaala)” and restore balance across the realms of Kaitaasan, Kaibabawan, at Kailaliman.

Restoring the Anituhan and Localized Lineages

While the terms Babaylan and Binabaylan represent the overarching shamanic, healing, and spiritual traditions across the Philippine archipelago, historical, ethnolinguistic, and anthropological records confirm that Katalonan is the specific designation for the spiritual mediums, healers, diviners, and ritual specialists of the Tagalog and Kapampangan peoples.

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE KATALONAN TRADITION AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF TAGALOG ANCESTRAL MEMORY (ALAALA) AND AFFIRMING ITS FORMAL INCORPORATION INTO THE CULTURAL, SPIRITUAL, AND HERITAGE REVIVAL MINISTRY OF BAHAY SIADTALA BINABAYLAN INC.

WHEREAS, Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc. is consecrated as a Bahay (Sacred House), temple, and lineage vessel dedicated to Indigenous Filipino Spirituality, operating as a Dambana ng Ginhawa, School of Aghamic Wisdom, and Lineage Transmission Center;

WHEREAS, the Preamble of the Spiritual Constitution and By-Laws of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc. explicitly establishes the sacred imperative to “Reawaken the Ancestral Memory (Alaala)”, to embody the Diwa of the Binabaylan path, and to serve as vessels of healing, wisdom, and spiritual leadership;

WHEREAS, historical, ethnolinguistic, and anthropological traditions establish that the term Katalonan represents the specific Tagalog and Kapampangan spiritual mediums, ritualists, diviners, and healers who are the direct cultural and spiritual counterparts to the Visayan Babaylan;

WHEREAS, the revival and preservation of the Katalonan tradition is essential for restoring the Anituhan (Ancestral Spiritual Lineage) specifically within the Tagalog region and among individuals of Tagalog heritage, ensuring that localized ancestral roots, sacred lineage names, and regional healing modalities are not lost to historical erasure;

WHEREAS, Article III (Sacred Purpose) and Article X (Nature of Teachings) mandate that all teachings shall be rooted in Indigenous knowledge derived from Filipino ancestral traditions, direct spiritual guidance, and living practice;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees (Council of Elders / Lupon ng mga Tagapag-ingat) of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc., in formal assembly:

  1. FORMAL DECLARATION OF LINEAGE INTEGRATION: That the Board of Trustees hereby declares the Katalonan tradition to be a fundamental and irreplaceable component of Tagalog Ancestral Memory (Alaala) that must be reawakened, preserved, and actively embodied within the organization.
  2. ALIGNMENT WITH CULTURAL HERITAGE PRESERVATION: That the recognition and integration of the Katalonan path is declared vital to the cultural and heritage revival mission of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc., serving to protect indigenous Tagalog spirituality, ritual arts, and ancestral worldview against modern fragmentation and cultural dilution.
  3. EMBODIMENT IN CURRICULUM AND RITUAL PRACTICE: That the ministry, educational programs, and lineage transmissions of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc. shall explicitly include Tagalog Katalonan concepts, prayers, and healing modalities alongside the broader Binabaylan framework, ensuring a holistic representation of Philippine indigenous spiritual paths.
  4. AUTHORIZATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION: That the Officers and Council of Elders are hereby authorized to incorporate Katalonan heritage studies into the formation modules for all levels of belonging—from Tagapanaw to Tagapag-ingat—in strict alignment with the ethical and cosmological principles set forth in the Spiritual Constitution and By-Laws.

Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama was born as Alvin Lasquesty Sentin who is the only son of Agustin Octaviano Sentin and Myrna Deseo Lasquety. Alvin served as a Missionary Healer of the Association until he found Neo Paganism through Majicka Eclectica on 2004 that later become known as Tribmaka. Upon joining the group Alvin was named as Alibata for he gain expertise on Filipino Rune Magick. In Majika Eclectica Baylan Alibata aside from being a Rune Master he also served as a Charm Maker. On 2011, Baylan Alibata took a formal study on Philippine Traditional and Indigenous Medicine through the Educational Ministry of Luntiang Aghama which is the Hilot Academy of Binabaylan and have gain the Title as Hilot Binabaylan. Through his continues study in the doctrines and teachings of Luntiang Aghama, Alvin Lasquety Sentin achieved his ordination to the Shrine thus from being Baylan Alibata he gained Membership to the Shrine and was ordained as Lakay Alsent Magbaya on December 16, 2012 and he was called to become a Binabaylan of Magbabaya on the 9th of March 2017. As of today Lakay Alsent Magbaya Aghama actively serves Luntiang Aghama Natural Divine Arts Shrine of Healing Inc. and serve as a Deputy Chief Priest of Landas ng Lahi, Temple Head of Templong Anituhan ng Luntiang Aghama, Director of Spiritual Healing Arts at Hilot Academy of Binabaylan, Founder and CEO of Bahay SiAdTala Binabaylan Inc., Founder and Initiator of Sibulan Adlaw Tala Baybayin Mystic Oracle.
